Black Queens on Stage

Crimson Alchemist, (Charne Hixon) an underground hip hop Emcee from the eastside of Detroit, MI. Crimson is known for her lyricism, witty lines mixed with references from pop culture to anime themed concepts. Grabbing her start in music at the age of 11, Crimson’s main inspirations in hip hop come from the likes of Common, Wu Tang, and most importantly her father. As an artist over the years she has perfected her craft to be one of the artists to out for in the future. From performing open mics to headlining festivals as big as Dally In the Alley, you can say that Crimson can hit the industry with a “seismic toss” as she chants with a big festival crowd.

The Iconic phrase “Kill it Crimson” has echoed across numerous stages in her career this year. She has shared the stage with high energy artists such as Clear Soul Forces, Mega Ran, Noveliss, Doc Illingsworth, Obie Trice, Swift Mcvay and even Slaughterhouse’s very own Crooked I. Things don’t stop there for Crimson. She has also joined artists on out of town shows in comic conventions such as Youmacon, Techniicon, and also Liberty City Anime Con in Times Square New York City. While doing so, she was able to supply her fans with a few music videos and loose singles to tide over before the next big release. One video that really hit the spot was a track simply named “Carolina Reaper Flow” which captures simply why she is the hottest artist in the city.
